DIY Filmmaking Workshop with Laura Terruso

Presented by the Santa Fe Film Institute.


Laura Terruso is a New York City based filmmaker and screenwriter. She studied filmmaking in the prestigious graduate film program at NYU's Tisch School of the Arts. As a producer she has worked with filmmaker Todd Solodz on his short film "3013" which screened at the Venice Biennale. She has also produced two feature films which screened at the Sundance Film Festival "Codependent Lesbian Space Alien Seeks Same" and "The Foxy Merkins," both directed by Madeleine Olnek. She co-wrote the feature film "Hello, My Name is Doris" with Michael Showalter, which is based on her short film "Doris & The Intern." The film will star Sally Field and is currently in post production. She is represented by Greg Walter and Richard Abate at 3 Arts Entertainment.
